Custom crew permissions
Christian Atmer
Would like to handle crew permissions in a more detailed way. A person could for instance be able to edit one show, but only view other shows/schedules. Also be able to hide certain lists/schedules/shows from certain crew members, and so on...

allocate limited columns for contributors to change?

Are you guys working on a feature to be able to allocate limited columns for contributors to change? For example our camera director can only change columns that are assigned to him. Angle, Camera, Setting, Transition etc. That way we limit the risk against human errors of the less digital talented crewmembers.

Please include certain crew can access using/dragging Global elements into a rundown (ie Show Caller and Event Admin users).. Team Administrators could remain as the only crew able to ‘build’ Elements and Element Sets.

It would also be beneficial to able to assign edit access to a contributor to one specific column. E.g. script column for copy editing only but not access to other departments columns.

Advanced permissions is definitely on our roadmap. What do you think about folder permissions? This will likely be the first iteration on this.
Christian Atmer
John Alexander: Great, that could be useful but not really help me all the way. I can think of scenarios where I would like different people to get access to different shows/lists/schedules within a folder. But I guess you can solve that with folders within the folder...

But then you would need to be able to set permissions to "sub-folders" as well.
