This release brings back one of your most requested features: you can now
save rundown rows straight into Global Elements
. We also added a Cmd/Ctrl + Enter
shortcut for working down a column, sped up the prompter's top speeds, made prompter and rundown editors more aware of each other, and fixed a batch of row number, tracking and printing bugs.New
Save Rows to Global Elements
Built a row in your script that you want to reuse? Save it straight to Global Elements without retyping it in the panel.
- Right-click a row number and choose Save Row to GEM.
- Pick the element set to save it to and, if you like, add labels.
- The row's values are copied into the element set using your column mapping. The row stays linked to the new element, so you can choose Publish Changes to GEMlater to push your edits.
- Available to Team Admins on teams with Global Elements.

Cmd/Ctrl + Enter to Save and Move Down
While editing a cell, press
⌘ Enter
(Mac) or Ctrl + Enter
(Windows) to save it and jump to the cell directly below. It works in Rich text cells and All timing cells, so you can work down a column without reaching for the mouse.
Improved
Prompter View
Speeds 15 to 20 now ramp up much faster, and speed 20 (about 3.5x faster than before). This applies to the speed slider, the keyboard and the Contour Shuttle.
See Who's Editing in the Prompter
Editing content in the prompter view now works like editing a cell in the rundown, so prompter and rundown users can no longer potentially overwrite each other without knowing.
- While someone has a script cell open in the prompter, the rundown shows their name on that cell, and anyone who starts editing it gets the "Cell already being edited" warning.
- Opening a Script cell in prompter view that someone else is editing in rundown view shows the same warning first.
- People viewing the prompter now show up in the rundown's active user avatar stack.
Show Caller Tracking
With Follow tracking / auto scrolling on , opening or reloading a rundown now more reliably scrolls to the tracked row and places it higher up on the screen then before, with its group header still in view (if using groups)
Fixed
- Prompter row numbers now match the rundown, including decimal numbers for rows in groups (2.1, 2.2)
- Swapping a row into or out of a group now shows the right row numbers right away, for everyone viewing the rundown, without a refresh.
- Group headers no longer show Start → End or Total times when the rundown has no Start Time or Duration column. (never added or manually archived)
- PDFs with floated rows now print all pages on macOS
- Rundown v2 templates created from the team dashboard's Templates tab now include the correct column structure.
- Closing a timing cell no longer shows the "Timing updated" message twice.
