Give a row group a target length, like a 5:00 TV break or a 20:00 halftime, and see at a glance how much time is left to fill or how far over you've programmed. We also added improvements to dropped connection improving data reliability, made Global Elements remember the element set you were using and integrated search & find and replace.
New
Target durations for row groups
  • Click a group's
    Total
, or right-click the group header and choose
    Target Duration
. Enter the length and click
    Set target
    .
  • The header shows the
    Target
    next to the
    Total
, with a tag for the gap: green
    -2m
when there's time left to fill, red
    +1m15s
    when you're over, and
    On target
    when it's exact.
  • The gap updates as you add, remove, or retime rows. Muted durations aren't counted, same as the Total.
  • Targets are for planning only. Setting or changing one never moves any start times.
  • Admins and Show Callers can set targets. Everyone on the show sees them.

Improved
Staying in sync after a dropped connection
When your connection drops (a locked phone, a sleeping laptop, a Wi-Fi blip), Rundown now keeps trying to reconnect, tells you what's happening, and catches up on its own when it's back.
  • A banner just above the bottom footer shows when you're offline or reconnecting, then shows
    You're up to date.
once everything has loaded. Brief blips don't show it.
  • After a longer drop, the rundown loads the changes you missed, including edits from others and the tracked row, without a refresh. Your selection, the cell you're editing and any edits still saving are kept. An open Global Elements panel catches up too.
  • While you're offline, the banner warns that your edits won't save until you're back.
  • If live updates still haven't come back after 3 minutes, the banner offers a
    Refresh
    button.
Global Elements remembers your element set
  • The Global Elements panel now reopens the element set you last used on each rundown, instead of always opening the first one. The choice is saved in your browser, so it doesn't carry over to other devices.
  • The search field now names the open set, for example "Search
    Mens Baseball Elements
". to better visualize which element set you are in.
Search / Find & Replace added to Global Elements
  • when the GEM panel is open in table view you can now toggle to Global Elements to search cell data or use find and replace

Fixed
  • After a reconnect, some live updates to a rundown could stop arriving until you reloaded the page. They now resume right away.
  • Resizing window caused column headers to lose bottom border
  • Long column titles could cause the switch to be pushed out of view in pdf export
  • If you're signed out while on a rundown, signing back in now takes you back to that rundown instead of the dashboard.
